Aren't those mirrors such a lovely feature? How dramatic must they be in person!!??!! I'm really loving the look/idea of unframed mirrors on a wall. However, while the look above is fabulous, its still a little too "designer" for my taste. I have blogged about some ancient Indian designs that incorporate mirrors as art.....I really need to do something about it and soon!! :)
Meanwhile, be sure to check out her portfolio. There's much more inspiration to be had!!!
Oh fabulous... I love the mirrors.. and the lamp... Also the painting next to the dining area.. is simply gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteOooh I am loving this. I adore the lampshade she has in the bedroom...and it looks to be a similar one in the hallway.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell if that is a window or mirror in the hall but I love the color blue I can see through it.
Not sure about the mirrors....having recently moved from a house with a lot of mirrored walls (think 70's disco) I am not a huge fan of them at the moment.
I do love the shapes and the placement of them though. Like you though it is a tad too designer for my liking.
Thanks for popping over to my blog and glad you like my crazy plants. I normally make real pretty ones but this is what my customers want at the moment lol.
I can't wait to get going on my guest room. I blooged about the fabric I bought about a week ago...I think you might like it.
Although the house is Cape Cod style, I am English so it will be a mix of traditional English and Indian I guess.
I grew up in an area that was very heavily populated with Indian and Pakistani families so it is what I am used to and what appeals to me the most.
Can't wait to visit home and do some shopping in the Indian stores...there isn't much here in California.
@patty: you have to go check out her site...there are many more pictures out there that I couldn't use because of copyright policies...
ReplyDelete@tallulah: thank you so much for stopping by and your wonderful comment....I think that is a mirror in the first pictre-you can see the lamp and other mirror reflected in it...which means that the wall across is covered in blue stutters! I loved it as well! She incorporates a lot of Indian design in her work, so be sure to check her site...I couldn't post those pictures up here due to copyright issues....
