I've blogged about the color turquoise earlier. Now in fall, when the world is busy painting everything orange and rust, I'm feeling the pull of turquoise again....not the soft, muted, watered-down version, but the color of royalty; think rich, lush silk....deep shimmering turquoise as only India can do. The color seems to be gaining popularity, it's springing up in many unexpected places from upscale Gramercy Park apartments to Apartment Therapy homes. And I can't stop myself from hopping back onto the turquoise bandwagon...

oh! they are all stunning! Turquoise & silver are such a great pair for festivals as well..aren't they? And thanks for the link to the hope chest..Susan's work is so inspiring. I had fun going through it. Such hardwork.

ReplyDeleteIn indian I had a turquoise color salwaar kameez which I wore to death...The only sad part about turquoise color in clothes is that it fades and bleeds soo fast...anyways I am getting carried away...lemme stop!
