  2. Somehow we all share the same kind of life style and yet we bloom into different personalities. You talking about your mother and sister is like my story. The duo does the same for me. Keep counting your blessings.

    I have the same kind of socks too. Warmth straight from India. I love the fact that they are handwoven and someone has actually put a lot of attention to detail.

  11. i got a pair of similar bright(different pattern though0 color socks from HP while on a trek around 4 years back from some village women making these right in their homes..and they warm my feet still on winters!!!

  12. This story reminded me of how my sis bought me the Krishnanagar dolls when she was in Delhi :).

    I have a pair of those socks too. They must be more than 20 odd years old. I just can't bear to throw them out.

    I work past midnight most days during the tax season and I slip into my colorful fuzzy socks after my clients leave and having them on makes me so happy..and working 14 hours a tad bit bearable!

  14. I buy colorful socks from Target for my very cold toes, and to take pictures from that angle:)..but they are not half as woolly as yours.
