Monochrome!

Today I'm loving the happy design camaraderie on display in the picture above!!! You know me by now--I'm not much of a monochrome person--I like my color!! However, the image above had me clicking back to it....what drew me there I wonder?....the organic beauty? the rich mingling of patterns? not sure, but I really really loved it!

Some other monochromatic palettes...

Do you see what I see?

  1. I'm loving that top image as well. I'm usually all over colors-- but there is definitely a place for monochrome patterns and old photographs. Gorgeous group of items! Thanks for stopping by the Compai blog today!

  6. I love that 'zebra-ish' book in the top photo. Very nice. I feel a little guilty for admitting this, but I would buy the book just for the look (regardless of what the text inside reads). Shhh...don't tell anyone I said that. Smile.

  10. How pretty. I really like the Buddha statue. I've noticed that I have quite a few Buddhas in my place.
