One Samosa, Two Samosa....

Hello my lovelies. Thursday!!!! Wonder if you'd care for some samosas (or 'mosas, as my little one calls them!).

Samosas & ketchup on the patio.

it was an earl grey kind of an evening..........

A closeup of the crunchy goodness. I can never get all my samosas the same shape and size. But they do taste awesome! ;) Because I eyeball things, and because I'm too lazy to write up the recipe --the best approximation of the recipe here.

So, this post is about keeping promises (albeit a little late, but I really do have a reason for the tardiness!)....Anita, this is my entry for the tea party. Sorry I'm late (I don't usually keep Indian Stretchable Time, but sometimes I just do. Gulp! sorry!). There are promises you make to others and promises you make to yourself. I promised myself some R&R, here's what my evening looked like yesterday.......

Yes, my library also gets India Today. I know, isn't that freak!ng awesome? Now I haven't gone through the entire stack (though I would have dearly loved to!), but it was gooood to have a few moments to unwind.

How did you handle the midweek blahs?

  3. Thanks girls!

LOL Nisha, give yourself another few years in the west, you'll be craving things so bad, you'll end up turning into a mini-halwai! (at least that's how it happened to me..........) :) Had we been in India, I don't think I would have even touched the stuff, much less made it! ;)

I have to put in a big shout out to all my lovely foodie blogger friends....you never know who's reading and who is inspired!--so keep on posting your lip smacking recipes.... :)

(just to clear a point: I use "foodie" in its loosest, happiest connotation--for me foodie is a person who loves food and not the snooty know-it-all!!)

  14. Tease! Did you know it'd rain here all day and I would crave samosas? The photos are stunning. When I was a kid, I used to peel the samosa covering and eat ONLY that. Now I dig the insides first. With ketchup and chai.
